instead和instead of的区别

两者的区别：instead是副词，通常位于句尾，意思是代替；顶替；反而；却。instead of是复合介词，后面可接名词和代词以外的词，如形容词，副词，动词和介词，意思是代替；作为的替换。这两个词的意思相同，在语句中的用法不同。

instead造句：

If you can;t sign a cross instead。如果你不会签名画个十字来代替。

instead of造句：
